Reading Month Calendar!

Here is our reading month calendar of events! We get participation points for every student who participates in the underlined activities. On candy days the classes with the highest percentage of participation will all get a special visit from some candy land characters and a piece of candy!

Feb. 29 - Math Test

BAND-AID DRIVE BEGINS! Bring in boxes or band-aids for the competition all week.
IMPORTANT:  All band aids must be medication and latex free.  CURAD® and Nexcare™ are some of the best brands for latex free options. 

March 1 - Reading Month Begins!!
                *Bring a Dr. Seuss book this week to school to read*

March 2 - Wear your Habit Shirt!
                  Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

March 7 -  No School

Bandaid Competition!

Bandaid Competition:

Next week, February 29-March 4, Bauer will be collecting bandaids for the Helen Devos Children's Hospital. In celebration of Cambri Jewell's (Caden Jewell's sister) last chemo appointment, Jewell's are asking people to join them in giving back to the hospital by donating FUN bandaids that the patients can choose from after their chemo ports are removed. In efforts to collect as many boxes as we can, we are making this a competition. The class that brings in the most boxes of bandaids will win Sprinkles Donuts. If you would rather donate money, that is great too. We will go out and purchase bandaids with any money raised.
