Bauer Family Picnic

You are invited to the:  Bauer Family Picnic

When: 

Thursday, June 4, from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.

What: 

Families & friends are invited to celebrate the end of a great school year by attending an all school picnic.Bring a picnic lunch for your family and a blanket to sit on. If you are unable to attend the picnic, your child will be welcome to join in with friends.

For students that would like to order school lunch that day, the only option will be a sack lunch (sandwich, fruit, baby carrots, treat and milk) through the Food Service Department for $2.25. Free or reduced prices will apply. The cost will be taken out of your child's account so please be sure that money is available.

Where:  

We will be eating on the playground. You will want to pre-arrange a spot to meet your child(ren).Families will be eating together from 11:30 am - 12:10 pm. 

Other Details:  

Optional activities will commence at 12:10 pm. There will be face painting, kickball & soccer games, and the parachute game.  Students may stay with their families and visit, play on the playground, or join in the activities. 

Extra parking will be available on the grassy area in front of the PreK/K playground. A parking attendant will direct you where to park in that area.

At 12:30 pm our picnic will end and students will go back to their classrooms.

**In the event of rain, families will meet in the child’s classroom.**

We Need Your Help!

Bauer Elementary Girls on the Run  (GOTR) is still in need of items to donate to the Harbor Humane Society.  We are challenging each student to bring in an item or a $1.00 donation to help our cause.  The Team ran 113 laps, in an effort to collect as many items or dollars, to assist local orphaned animals.  Can you help?  Please bring your donation by Wednesday, May 27th.

The class with the most items or dollars donated will receive a special treat from our GOTR Team.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!

*Please bring students to school TOMORROW, Wednesday, May 20th between 8:45-9:00 am. 

*We will have check-in tables at the South parking lot. 

*Please have all bags labeled with student's name.

*Don't forget to bring a sack lunch.

*Any and all medication needs to be in its original container and in a ziplock bag with student's name on it.

*Students will need to be picked up on Friday, May 22 at 1:45pm in same parking lot. 

Also-Parents are welcome to visit us anytime at camp. You are welcome to join us for meals ($7/meal) or bring your own. We'll be around camp to direct you! :)

Camp Parent Meeting!

When: Wednesday, May 6
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Where: Georgetown Elementary School -
Multi-purpose room.. (When you walk into Georgetown Elementary, it is on your left.)    
*Chaperones will have a meeting immediately following the parent meeting
*All medicine and YMCA waivers are due tomorrow (those are the bright red and green forms)
*Be sure to check your email tomorrow after school for the Parent Camp Handbook!
